The Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council have launched the Resilience Programme, an 18-month development initiative aimed at supporting large-scale Belfast arts organisations.
The programme is designed to increase the resilience of arts and cultural organisations through business support measures in helping them help undergo a process of change aimed at making them more effective and efficient, increase commercial capacity and investment readiness.
The appointed consultants, Full Circle Management Solutions will deliver a programme for a cohort of arts organisations initially limited to 15 clients located in the Belfast City Council area. These participating organisations will benefit from a customised support programme including business coaching, masterclasses and peer learning. Arts organisations will then develop a change management plan to help them identify new opportunities and income streams and build the skills and capabilities of staff.
The programme will work with organisations that have city-wide reach and an annual turnover of £400,000. Only those organisations that are in receipt of 2018/19 Arts Council of Northern Ireland Annual Funding and Belfast City Council Core Multi-annual Funding (CMAF) are eligible to apply.
The Resilience Programme is now open for applications and will close on Friday 31 August at 12pm.
