The Grand Opera House is currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join its successful Marketing and Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, high quality creative and professional artwork for the Theatre to help promote productions, creative learning and outreach activities, the 2020 Restoration and Development Project and the Grand Opera House brand.
About you : The successful candidate will have an extensive portfolio of creative work showing both online and off-line creative designs. They will have the ability to originate and design print and digital materials to a high standard. Good organisational skills and great attention to detail are essential to this role. They will also have demonstrable experience developing creative briefs with colleagues and managing a design project from concept to completion.
About the Grand Opera House: As Northern Ireland’s Premier Theatre, the Grand Opera House presents an outstanding programme of musicals, plays, ballet, opera, comedy, dance, and locally-created work, family shows, as well as one of the UK’s most successful and historic pantomimes. The Grand Opera House is one of Northern Ireland’s iconic buildings, Belfast’s foremost cultural asset and the only remaining Victorian Theatre to have survived in Northern Ireland. The charitable objective of the Grand Opera House Trust is to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public of Northern Ireland in the arts and in 2018, over 300,000 people attended around 400 performances and events at the Theatre.
