Green Arts Collective – action on climate change
Check out the Green Arts Collective Facebook page. This voluntary group of cultural/artist professionals are driving forward on change in Belfast to address the environmental crisis. The group have been very busy including meeting with Grainia Long, Belfast City Council’s, Commissioner for Resilience on 4th September at the Lyric Theatre.

At the same event, hosted and organised by Claire Murray, head of Marketing & Business Development at the Lyric Theatre and TheatreNI’s Vice Chair; participants heard from Maia Sert, Project Manager, On the Move who led on a Creative Europe funded ‘Creative Climate Leadership programme’.  Maia has shared the link to the project evaluation report with us. Creative Carbon Scotland are holding their conference on 8th October. See how Scotland’s cultural sector is responding to the climate and environmental crisis.  And find out about some of the innovative steps being taken to reduce the environmental impact of the arts and understand their crucial role in creating a more sustainable Scotland.
