The iDA funding programme is a dedicated annual arts development programme, delivered through the University of Atypical, to enable deaf and disabled artists who are working in a range of art forms to develop their professional artistic careers.
Through the University of Atypical, iDA has enabled disabled and deaf artists to develop unique artwork of extremely high artistic quality, some progressing to a level where international recognition is won. The funding’s purpose is to identify, encourage and nurture individual talent amongst disabled and deaf practitioners. It is open to disabled/deaf artists living in Northern Ireland.
The bursaries, of up to £5000, provide valuable opportunities for each artist to produce a new high-quality creative work, receive training or professional mentoring.
University of Atypical are hosting iDA briefing sessions and surgeries throughout January and early February during which they can discuss the application process in more detail. To contact call 02890 239450 or email email@example.com to arrange an advice session.
Deadline: 4pm, Friday 14 February 2020.
