Individual artists/Freelancers – ACNI strategy consultation has been re-arranged. ‘Have your say’ – Mon, 17th Sept, 2018 Crescent Arts Centre, 6-8pm

The Arts Council is holding a series of art sector consultation meetings on the development of its next five year strategy (2019/20 – 2023/24). The consultation for individual artists has been re-arranged and will now take place on Monday 17th September 2018.

ACNI are keen to hear your views on the last plan, Ambitions for the Arts and how they can best support the arts in the future, and communicate the value and contribution of our sector to society.

‘We live in an evolving and changing world with many challenges and uncertainties.  We would like to hear from you what you think a new strategy should address and what our priorities should be as we engage with our stakeholders: audiences, artists, performers, creators, arts organisations, partners in local government and other policy areas.  These perspectives will help inform future phases of the strategy’s development so we want to capture your views on your art form or specialist area and how these might be developed.’

The session for you as an individual artist will take place from 6-8pm on 17th September 2018 at the Crescent Arts Centre, 2 – 4 University Road, Belfast.  RSVP: s.hanna@artscouncil-ni.org
